Keeping information security in mind, this position will contribute to the efforts of safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the enterprise applications and information assets across the University while giving our user community the best, most up-to-date, reliable, resilient tools and data to build the Stony Brook experience. The incumbent is responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading, patching, integrating, and troubleshooting PeopleSoft ERP and other software applications, including writing scripts to automate some administrative tasks. Experience in Oracle SQL query turning, Oracle database administration and/or experience in successful performance tuning of complex systems. Experience in managing ERP systems in UNIX/LINUX/Windows environments. Experience in configuration of web applications, including HTTP and log analysis. Additional years of experience in upgrading, installing, configuring, securing, monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting ERP systems. Experience in Unix shell and Windows Powershell scripting.Īdvanced Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). In lieu of a degree, a combination of education and full-time experience with upgrading, installing, configuring, securing, monitoring performance tuning and troubleshooting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) equaling eight (8) years may be considered. Four years of full-time experience in upgrading, installing, configuring, securing, monitoring performance tuning and troubleshooting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
